FIBROMYALGIA AND ACUPUNCTURE

Through brain scans, it has been shown that 'real' Acupuncture alters opioid receptors in the brains, causing long term improvements in Fibromyalgia, whereas 'sham' Acupuncture will have some effect but not in this way.  The Guardian has produced a fascinating article on this:
